Listen to our chat with SEC Commish Hester Peirce about "The Evolution of Securities Regulation in the U.S."
Howdy!
Okay so a heck of a lot has gone on since I last sent out an update. I testified before the House Committee on Small Business about transparency in small business lending, and streamlining the SBA administration with a better approach to records management with a common, universal record network.
Unbeknownst to me at the time, I was testifying with a ruptured appendix and massive infection that hit me like a ton of bricks literally that evening afterwards. I go into detail in our recent “coming back from the hiatus” podcast episode.
So now we’re back into swing and just dropped another podcast episode with SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce discussing this week’s decisions to modify security offering exemptions and crowdfunding.
We also chatted about the recent no-action letter issued about Alternative Trading Systems and the impact on the development of the secondary market for tokenized security digital assets.
Commissioner Peirce also gave us some insight into enforcement trends and cross-agency cooperation in regulatory efforts.
Great chat and super timely! Check it out!
